We are looking for a Charge Nurse Manager to join the Emergency Department nursing leadership team!
In this fast-paced environment, as a Charge Nurse Manager you will need excellent innovation, interpersonal and communication skills. Some of the essential work you will be doing:
- Provide exceptional professional and clinical nursing leadership
- Promote excellence in best practice, and safe, high-quality patient and whaanau centred care, resulting in a great patient experience
- Continue to coach, mentor, and develop the ED Nursing team, supporting, and enabling nurses to work to their top of scope
- Support and enable the ED department to meet key performance indicators

About you
Are you an experienced senior nurse looking for an exciting and rewarding challenge of leading a high performing team? To be successful in this role you will need:
- New Zealand Nursing Registration
- Current Annual Practicing Certificate
- Minimum 7 years recent and relevant experience
- Masters’ qualification or are currently working towards this
- Demonstrated expertise in setting standards and managing excellence in practice
- Ability to provide coaching and mentoring
