      CVICU stands at the forefront of specialized nursing care, grounded in clinical expertise, research, education, and innovation. As the National Center for Heart and Lung transplants, LVAD implantations, and ECMO, our 26-bed adult ICU excels.

      This 24-hour service at Auckland City Hospital caters to elective and acute cases. We provide intensive care for a spectrum of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures, offering unrivalled learning prospects in New Zealand.

      Further, we foster professional growth through ongoing education and subsidized postgraduate studies. Experience a balanced work-life with our 12-hour shift rosters.       Experience

      • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in ICU/HDU, acute surgical, acute medical, cardiac, ED, etc.

      Qualifications 

      • Eligibility for registration or Registration from Nursing Council of NZ.

      • Collaboration within a multidisciplinary team and capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
