· The Auckland Region has three different Hospitals based within a 30km radius. Due to the diverse demographic across districts, each area experiences distinctive patient and family needs, and presents unique opportunities for care delivery.
· With a diverse population of approximately 1.6 million, the Auckland region delivers a third of the babies in New Zealand every year.
· You will be able to collaborate with experienced consultants and have access to robust teaching and supervision. Our team of Registrars, House Officers, Nurses and Midwives are there to empower and protect woman’s rights and make a real difference in the lives of our patients.
· A fair balance of inpatient and outpatient work is available, as well as exposure to both medicine and surgical settings.
· You will provide individualised support, care, and guidance to woman from diverse backgrounds, and be part of a culture that values work life balanced and embraces diversity and inclusion.
· A wide range of subspecialties and areas of special interest are available including:
o Gynaecological Oncology
o Obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound
o Maternal-fetal Medicine
o Reproductive endocrinology and infertility
o Urogynaecology
o Minimal Access surgery
Eligibility and how to apply:
· Minimum of 9-12 months experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
· Eligibility for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
· Please note this is not an application for the RANZCOG trainees already on the training scheme
· You do not have to be a RANZCOG trainee to apply
