About the Role
Ward 23 at Middlemore Hospital is seeking a friendly, organised, and proactive Ward Clerk to be the welcoming face of our adult rehabilitation and health of older people services. This is a full-time, working 40 hours a week from 7:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
You will play a key role supporting the daily operations of the ward, collaborating with nurses, doctors, clerical staff, and other healthcare professionals. You’ll also be a vital point of contact for patients, families, and visitors, helping to create a smooth, caring experience for everyone.
About You
You’ll help keep the ward running smoothly by ensuring spaces are ready for new patient admissions and maintaining accurate, well-organised records at all times – a key part of delivering high-quality care
What you’ll need to succeed;
- NCEA Level Qualification (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in customer service
- Intermediate computer skills
- Experience with hospital systems (iPMS/WiMS) is a bonus but not essential
