About the Role
We are looking for a Consultant Urologist who is interested in working in Taranaki to improve, promote, protect and care for the health and wellbeing of the people of Taranaki. While the role is currently scoped at around 0.6FTE, we are open to discussing alternative FTE or working arrangements. Flexible or inter-regional models may be considered, including options for clinicians who hold part-time roles elsewhere and can travel regularly.

About the Team/Service/ Location
The successful candidate will join a team of three and will take part in an on call roster with registrar and house surgeon support.

About you
Are you a qualified Health Professional who can practise in New Zealand who would embrace an exciting opportunity in a beautiful province with fantastic work life balance?

The successful applicant should have comprehensive experience and training in General Surgery and must have the FRACS with vocational registration or equivalent qualifications. The department has a strong track record with audit and you will be expected to participate and contribute to the department’s activities including advanced trainee registrar teaching, supervision of house surgeons, audit and medical student teaching.
