The North Adult Mental Health Service provides a range of services to people aged 18-65 years who are experiencing mental health difficulties.
About the role
This challenging and rewarding position requires a person with demonstrated operational leadership skills who is well organised, flexible and relates well to others. In this role, the Adult Mental Health Team Manager has the responsibility to ensure that services are well organised, evidence based, needs led and service user focused.
You will provide effective leadership to support and empower staff, foster strong links with community resource providers, and ensure that all available resources are used to meet the identified needs of individual service users. In addition to day-to-day team management, you will play a key role in coaching and mentoring staff, encouraging innovation in service delivery, and creating a resilient and positive working environment.
This position works collaboratively alongside the Manager of the North Acute Service.

Essentials:
- Previous management experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Mental Health Sector
- Holds NZ registration and current APC
Primary Location: 44 Taharoto Road, Takapuna
Schedule: Full time (1FTE) Monday to Friday business hours, with availability to an on call roster.
Reporting line: Directly reports to the Operations Manager of Adult Mental Health
