About the Role
In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting the Northern Region Interventional Radiology (NRIR), Cardiovascular Unit (CVU), and Radiology teams to deliver efficient, high-quality, and patient-focused services. You’ll help ensure smooth patient flow within the departments and contribute to a positive patient experience. As a clinical leader, you’ll support and guide the NRIR and CVU MIT teams, promoting evidence-based practice, professional development, and adherence to quality standards and ethical codes.

About you
Our preferred applicant will have the below skills and experience:
Essential
- Bachelor of Health Science in Medical Imaging (or equivalent) and current MRTB registration
- Enrolled in a recognised Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme
- Minimum three years’ experience, including at least two in Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Catheterisation Labs
- Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills
- Patient- and whānau-centred approach with commitment to culturally safe practice
- Professional, reliable, and able to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Preferred
- Five or more years’ experience in Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Catheterisation Labs
- Previous leadership experience as a qualified MIT
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for ongoing learning and exploring new concepts
