The Role:

We are on the hunt for a senior nurse to join our People and Professional Development team as the Supported First Year of Practice Coordinator (SFYP Coordinator). You will work across the organisation to ensure the SFYP framework for our nursing graduate workforce is fit for purpose and that we continue to deliver a high quality process.

With exceptional coordination, networking and communication skills, you will be responsible for the coordination, continuous improvement, promotion and access to the SFYP framework across the Counties Manukau region, in addition you will liaise with relevant organisations at a National, Regional and Local Level.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Nurse to join our team! You will work with our SFYP Nurse Educator and lead our Clinical Coaches with the aim of coordinating a strong and effective team.

About You:

  • NZ Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • 5+ years relevant nursing experience in NZ (post registration)
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Experience coaching and mentoring staff
  • Clean and full NZ drivers licence
  • Relevant post grad qualification
