About the Role
Are you looking for a rewarding healthcare career where you play a vital role in patient safety? As a Sterilising Technician, you'll be responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, sterilising, and preparing medical instruments and equipment used throughout the hospital.
We welcome applications from both experienced Sterilising Technicians and motivated individuals who are keen to start a career in the field.
Applicants who already hold the qualification and have sterilising services experience are encouraged to apply.
If you're new to the profession, we'll support you to complete the NZSSA Sterilising Certificate Level 4 while gaining valuable hands on experience. This is a permanent full time position based at Whakatāne Hospital.

You should have:
NZSSA Sterilising Certificate, relevant experience or
Be prepared to undertake 1 year training to complete the New Zealand Certificate in Sterilising Technology Level 4
