Specialist Clinical Physiologist, Cardiac
We are looking for Cardiac Device Specialist Physiologist to join the Cardiology team at Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora – Counties Manukau

About the Role
You will be required to perform non-invasive cardiac procedures including ECG recording, Holter monitor and Event fitting / analysis, Exercise Tolerance Testing / supervision. You will have an advanced knowledge of Cardiac device management (ICD, CRT and Pacemakers) and remote monitoring.
You will be required to support training within the physiology team and across other disciplines, as well as be involved in an on call roster.

Counties Manukau has a strong, positive and forward thinking team. You will be working alongside a supportive inter-disciplinary team within the Cardiology department including Physiologists, sonographers, Cardiac Nurses and Physicians across our Counties Manukau Sites.

About you
The successful applicant will:
- Have an excellent clinical knowledge and be proficient in Cardiac Rhythms and Cardiac device management from implant to follow-up, with at least 6 years of experience
- You will have IHBRE or equivalent in Cardiac Device management
- You will hold Society of Cardiopulmonary (SCT) membership and have registration and current annual practicing certificate with the Clinical Physiologist Registration Board (CPRB).
- Have a passion for excellent service delivery focusing on top quality care for our patients.
- Be flexible and adaptable with excellent time management skills
- Have the ability to maintain high professional standards
- Demonstrate a strong drive to deliver and take personal responsibility
- Able to maximise the quality and contributions of individuals and teams to achieve the organisation’s vision, purpose and goals
- Full drivers licence - mandatory
- Demonstrate clinical leadership
