About the Role
Our Radiology department is seeking a casual Sonographer with excellent scanning and time management skills to join our busy team. Located within the hospital, our referrals include acute examinations (inpatient/ED), obstetric, vascular and community referrals. You will be supported by a team of qualified Radiologists and Sonographers.
We are looking for a Sonographer with excellent communication skills, a high standard of patient care, enthusiasm and the ability to work efficiently in our busy department.
This is a casual position, as and when required. This could suit someone who is currently working part-time and is happy to pick up an extra shift. While the successful candidate will be based at Tauranga Hospital, there could be an opportunity to work at Whakatane hospital too.

About the Location

About You
NZ Registration as a Medical Imaging Technologist with a sonography qualification recognised by the Medical Radiation Technologists Board is essential.
The successful applicant you will need:
General DMU/Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent
Ideally skilled in areas such as vascular, musculo-skeletal ultrasound
Be computer literate
Proactive, efficiency while working
Ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
