Social Worker - Mental Health Services for Older Adults (MHSOA) - North

  • Fixed-term role (ending on 12 October 2026)
  • Part-time, 0.6 FTE (48 hours per fortnight)
  • Based in Takapuna

About Us

MHSOA provides a comprehensive service to whaiora aged 65+ who are living with mental health difficulties and/or cognitive decline, often with complex needs. Our population is culturally diverse, our approach is collaborative, and we work in cohesive multidisciplinary teams with a strong client focus. We offer a supportive environment and provide opportunities for continued professional development.

About the role

We are now recruiting an enthusiastic Social Worker with good communication skills to join our North Shore community team in providing assessment, treatment and support to these whaiora and their families/whanau.

Ideally, experience in mental health and/or with the older adult population is preferable. You will be required to hold registration with the New Zealand Social Workers Registration Board, have a current Annual Practicing Certificate and hold a full, clean driver’s license.
