About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional leader to join our Mental Health and Addiction Service. Key aspects of this role include:

  • Providing leadership and operational management partnering with senior management and clinical leadership.
  • Enabling the service to provide high quality person-centred cost-effective service delivery which meets the needs of the service and organisational objectives
  • Ensuring that the targets and KPI for the service are delivered and positive outcomes for tangata whaiora are achieved

As this role supports teams across Te Tai Tokerau, travel across the rohe will be required in this role.

About the Team/Service/Location

This role will report to the General Manager of Mental Health and Addiction Services (MHAS) and be an integral member of the leadership team within MHAS.

About you

This position requires excellent relationship building, communication and collaboration skills, and an understanding of change management and conflict resolution. You will have demonstrable delivery of effective healthcare services as a senior manager in a multifaceted healthcare environment including staff management, financial management and change management.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work across a wide range of workforce groups and develop your knowledge and skills within the healthcare setting environment.

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or evidence of working towards
  • Current and full NZ driver's licence
  • An appropriate clinical qualification and project management experience is desired
