About the Role
An exciting secondment opportunity is available for a current employee and exceptional administrator to join the Medical Scheduling Team, based at Tauranga Hospital.
The main purpose of this position is to schedule patients appropriately for procedures at Tauranga Hospital in line with the Ministry of Health requirements.
This role requires
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- A proactive approach to problem solving, with the ability to think outside the box
- A high level of flexibility, as you will provide support across the Medical Scheduling Team as required
- You’ll be an important part of a close knit team, working collaboratively with colleagues and a range of stakeholders across Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty.
This position will be Monday to Friday, working from 8:00 to 4:30pm.

About You
To be successful in this position you will have the ability to work to a high level and provide excellent customer service. You will be a strong communicator both in verbal and written communication while having well developed interpersonal skills.
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in an administrative position. You will have comprehensive knowledge of patient information systems and have a high level of detail and organisational skills.
