About the Role
This Rotational Physiotherapy role is a permanent role in Taupo Hospital. We have a small, permanent Physiotherapy team at Taupo Hospital. You will be part of a supportive and skilled multidisciplinary team where you will feel a strong sense of belonging, growth and will be able to explore innovative ways to offer physiotherapy services to the Taupo/Turangi demographic.
The Role will contribute across a variety of domains. Rotations may include:
Acute wards: Medical, Surgical, Maternity, Orthopaedics, ED, Paediatrics
Rehabilitation: Assessment, Treatment & Rehabilitation (AT&R)
Outpatient services and weekly MSK clinics in Turangi
Group programme facilitation and tailored clinical pathways
This role includes:
Structured rotations and fixed placements based on your interests
Opportunity to expand your scope or deepen your specialty focus
Supportive clinical backup and collaboration across Te Whatu Ora Lakes
No weekend or on-call roster commitment
Free staff parking

About you
Current APC holder (NZ Physiotherapy Board)
2+ years’ experience in hospital/community settings preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply
Strong clinical reasoning, confident autonomy, and collaborative spirit
