Join Our Dynamic Respiratory Team at Te Whatu Ora – Waitemata.

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Respiratory Senior Medical Officer (SMO) looking for a change of scenery for a year (12 months fixed term). We are seeking a passionate physician to join our progressive and positive team at Waitemata, on the North Shore of Auckland, New Zealand.

This position is currently a 0.65FTE purely Respiratory role, but additional Gen Med hours are available if a full time role is required (and you are dual trained).

About the role:

We provide top-notch respiratory care to a diverse population, working across two hospital sites in North and West Auckland. We collaborate with other departments to deliver high-quality, innovative services. Our multidisciplinary team works closely with Respiratory colleagues across Metro Auckland.

Your Role:

Work alongside collaborative and helpful colleagues in a supportive environment to deliver out-patient services and clinics, in-patient consults, bronch and EBUS lists across the week.

Enjoy a balanced work-life schedule with a 1:9 after-hours roster.

About you:

Qualifications:

Dual-trained Respiratory Physicians with or eligible for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.

Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and working in a team-oriented environment.
