About the Role

We are looking for a caring and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our dynamic theatre team. The successful candidate will play an essential role in supporting our surgical team and ensuring the smooth operation of theatre activities. This position offers a wonderful opportunity for a motivated nurse to enhance her skills in a nurturing and collaborative setting.

Our team is passionate about delivering compassionate care and exceptional services to our patients. Our theatre team is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and surgical excellence in a warm and supportive environment.

About you

• Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth 
• Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings
• Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand
• At least 2 years previous experience in a theatre setting is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• Current ACLS certification preferred
