About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will be providing care to acutely unwell patients who present to the Emergency Department. We offer a variety of rostered shifts, including nights, on-going professional development opportunities and professional support.

Our team of Registered Nurses are dedicated to providing the best level of care, whilst also managing to apply a rural lens to problem solving. Taupo Hospital has a friendly and close knit team and is also able to rely on Rotorua Hospital for their support.

About you
As a registered nurse, you should have the following attributes and skills:
- Experience in Emergency Care Nursing
- Current New Zealand Annual Practicing Certificate or working towards it.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and the ability to adjust to changing needs of the department
- Prioritisation skills
- Honesty, reliability and confidentiality
- The ability to work in a team environment and independently
- Maintain a calm disposition under pressure
Qualifications you would have
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
- Post Graduate Certificate/Diploma – Desirable
