About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated RN who will work with a group of dedicated professionals in a fascinating speciality. The patients you would be involved with can come from all over and cover the full breadth of respiratory diseases - from Cystic Fibrosis to Lung Transplants, Cancers of the Lung to Asthma and COPD, Complex Pneumonia to TB.

While having experience with respiratory patients is obviously an advantage, it's not necessary. You will be someone who has an excellent orientation programme with lots of assistance from experienced multidisciplinary staff.

About the Team/Service/Location.

We are situated in Building 32, Level 7, Respiratory ward. Our workforce consists of a group of dedicated multicultural professionals in a fascinating specialty and work toward upholding Te Toka Tumai’s values. The population of patients we care for are from Cystic Fibrosis to Lung Transplants, Cancers of the Lung to Asthma and COPD, Complex Pneumonia to TB.

About you

• Be registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand
• Have a current Annual Practicing Certificate
• Have at least 3-5 years experience working in Acute Medical or Cardiac or Surgical settings.
