About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in our Relief Team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care across a range of inpatient departments. This is a dynamic and flexible role suited to someone who thrives in diverse clinical settings and enjoys the challenge of adapting quickly to different teams and environments.
You’ll be supporting areas experiencing short-term staffing shortages, working alongside a variety of clinical teams to ensure safe and effective care continues uninterrupted. This is an excellent opportunity to broaden your nursing experience while playing a key role in maintaining high standards of care.
About the Team/Service/ Location
Our Relief Team is made up of experienced, adaptable nurses who support inpatient wards across the hospital. You’ll be part of a positive, responsive team that values collaboration, resilience, and compassionate care.

About you
As a Registered Nurse, you will bring:
- A current New Zealand Registered Nurse Annual Practising Certificate
- A minimum of 2 years of acute nursing experience
- Excellent adaptability and time management skills
- Strong communication and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams
- Confidence in working across a variety of clinical settings
