An exciting opportunity has become available for a Registered Nurse (RN) to work in our PACU unit with flexibility to work in Operating Theatre or Daystay Unit.. You will be joining our passionate and multi-disciplinary team at Rotorua/Taupo Hospitals.

About the role
Primary responsibility and accountability for the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation in conjunction with working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care and a safe client journey across the perioperative care continuum.
- Permanent, part time role available, 8 days a fortnight.
- Hours of work: Mon-Sun, with on-call work mixed in with morning and afternoon shifts.

About you

You would:
- Be conscientious and highly motivated

- Have the confidence and ability to speak up for patient safety.

- Have NZ full driver’s license or working towards this
- NZ Qualified Registered Nurse holding current annual practicing certificate.
- Preferably have at least 2 years of recent perioperative nursing experience
