About the Role
Based at the Napier Health Centre, the Registered Nurse will work in the Outpatient Department in a supportive, multi-disciplinary team. This role would suit someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and has great assessment and time management skills. You will be confident in your practice, able to work autonomously and relate well to a variety of people including patients, whānau, and our varied clinical teams. Every day is different, and the successful applicant would enjoy a variety of work, the people they interact with and the challenge of giving each patient the best experienced whilst ensuring everything runs to schedule.
About the Service
This role is primarily based in the Outpatient Clinic at the Napier Health Centre. There is a large variety of specialty appointments and care offered at the Health Centre. No two days will be the same with Specialist Clinicians having regular clinics, including orthopaedics, cardiology, neurology, urology, vascular and gynaecology.

About you
You will need the following key attributes and skills:
- Current registration with the NZ Nursing Council and recent clinic experience.
- It is important that you have a commitment to proving a quality service and being part of a high performing team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and it’s application in your daily practice.
