About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in our Orthopaedic Ward, you will deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients undergoing acute and elective Orthopaedic treatment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include pre and post operative care, pain control, wound management and promoting mobility and independence.
You will work in a dynamic multidisciplinary team that is focused on delivering excellent Orthopaedic care to the Hawkes Bay population

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have the following skillset
- A current NZ Registered Nurse Annual Practising Certificate
- Recent experience in an acute surgical/orthopaedic setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong therapeutic relationships
- Strong clinical assessment skills, with a focus on safe, evidence-based practice
- A commitment to culturally safe care and an understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles, with a desire to support equitable outcomes for Māori
- A team-focused attitude and a passion for continuous improvement and professional development
