About the Role
Meade Clinical Centre – outpatient nursing team is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated registered nurse who is committed to quality patient focused care, with a strong commitment to patient education. This position is casual and as required. Ideally you would be flexible with availability Monday to Friday 0800 – 1630 including school holidays and the occasional weekend shift.
The salary for this position will be based on experience and in line with the NZNO Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand Nursing and Midwifery collective agreement. Additional benefits include kiwisaver contributions (if eligible), shift allowances on weekends, professional development and wellness support.

About the Team/Service
The Meade Clinical Centre (MCC) is comprised of a diverse range of specialty outpatient clinics, and services up to 900 patients per day. This position offers flexibility across a variety of clinics, and opportunities to build nursing knowledge & experience in a number of areas – working with senior nurses and specialists supporting investigations & minor procedures. Our busy multi-specialty outpatient department offers attractive hours of work, a supportive environment, education for the specialty and diverse development opportunities.
About you
The Registered Nurse we are looking for will demonstrate:
- commitment to delivering compassionate whanau focused care;
- excellent time management and able to use their initiative;
- advanced interpersonal and communication skills;
- work positively in a team environment;
- willingness to work in a variety of specialties;
- an interest in seeking professional development opportunities;
- sound nursing knowledge & experience in surgical & medical nursing is required;
- a minimum of 3 year’s post registration experience within a New Zealand hospital/acute care setting is required for this casual opportunity.
