About the Role

An exciting opportunity has become available to work as a Registered Nurse and join our passionate and multi-disciplinary team in Critical Care Rotorua Hospital.  Our unit is a mixed Intensive care High Dependency and Coronary care unit. That caters for Adults and Paediatrics.

The positions will require working full rostered shifts across both Intensive and Coronary Care (Critical Care)

We will consider suitable applicants who wish to work 6 or more shifts a fortnight.

 A commitment to the provision of quality care and ongoing education is essential, as is the ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team environment.

 Applicants must be prepared to work full rostered shifts

Previous specialty cardiac and/or intensive nursing experience is desirable. Acute Nursing experience in New Zealand is essential

About you

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills
  • Work well in a multidisciplinary team setting
  •  strong team player
  • Demonstrate good clinical decision making skills
  • Able to do fully rostered shifts.
  • Recent experience in acute medical setting would be an advantage.
