About the Role

  • 0.8 FTE, fully rostered

Huia Ward is a 20 bed acute unit that meets the needs of patients presenting with a range of acute cardiology and medical conditions.

If you share our passion and vision for adult Cardiology and medical nursing, and enjoy working in a friendly and supportive team, we would love to hear from you.

We work in a fast-paced environment while still delivering high quality of clinical nursing care. Specific Cardiology such as telemetry monitoring are ideal but a desire to learn and develop your Cardiology knowledge and skills is what is most important to us.

About you

To be considered we will need the following:

  • New Zealand Registered Nurse, with a current Annual Practising Certificate
  • A minimum of 2 years’ post registration acute experience as Registered Nurse in New Zealand
  • Recent experience working within in Cardiology
  • A confident communicator and natural problem solver
  • Someone who thrives in high energy environments and can prioritise effectively
