Huia Ward is a 20 bed acute unit that meets the needs of patients presenting with a range of acute cardiology and medical conditions.

We work in a fast-paced environment while still delivering high quality of clinical nursing care. Specific Cardiology such as telemetry monitoring are ideal but a desire to learn and develop your Cardiology knowledge and skills is what is most important to us.
About you
To be considered we will need the following:
- New Zealand Registered Nurse, with a current Annual Practising Certificate
- A minimum of 2 years’ post registration acute experience as Registered Nurse in New Zealand
- Recent experience working within in Cardiology
- A confident communicator and natural problem solver
- Someone who thrives in high energy environments and can prioritise effectively
