About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will be working within the General Ward at Dargaville Hospital, providing quality nursing care and support to patients, utilizing your professional knowledge and skill, to provide a holistic approach of nursing care that is safe and of the highest quality possible. The care you give will enhance the outcomes for patients through education, liaison with other members of the multi-disciplinary team, co-coordinating the treatment and discharge planning processes for patients.

About the Team/Service/Location

Dargaville Hospital provides hospital level and community care to the people of Kaipara. The General ward is a 12-bed ward that in addition also provides acute emergency care and planned procedures.

About you

We’re looking for a Registered Nurse with exceptional communication and leadership skills, someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and adapts seamlessly to changing priorities. Step into a role where your expertise is valued and your ability to lead makes a difference every day. Applicants must hold a current NZ Practising Certificate. Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in New Zealand is preferred, however not essential to apply.
