The Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for registered nurses to join the Kidz First Centre for Youth Health to work with young people in the Youth Justice residences.
At Kidz First Centre for Youth Health we believe that all young people have different strengths. This is a great opportunity to become part of a team which walks alongside young people and provides primary health care as part of a wider wrap around service to young people in the Youth Justice residences in Counties Manukau.
We are looking for a registered nurse with a minimum of 12 months experience, who is adaptable, passionate about young people and likes working in a team environment and is interested in developing their youth health skills and ideally have primary health experience.
Essential:
- Current NZ Nursing Council Annual Practicing Certificate
- Full, clean drivers licence
- 1+ years experience in primary health care in NZ
Desired:
- Primary health care experience
- Experienced with using Medtech
- Experience working with young people
