Are you passionate about making a real difference for people experiencing mental health crisis? Join our Community Assessment & Treatment Team (CATT) in the Mid North, where you’ll play a vital role supporting tāngata whaiora and their whānau at the moments they need it most.

As a Registered Health Clinician, you’ll bring your clinical expertise to a 24/7 crisis response services, enjoying autonomy, variety, and the opportunity to influence meaningful health outcomes for Māori and the wider community. About the Team/Service/Location

The Community Assessment & Treatment Team provides a 24-hour, 7-day a week mental health crisis service across the Mid and Far North. We are committed to the needs of whānau and hapu wellbeing to ensure both cultural and clinical excellence. Our team delivers care to our rural and coastal communities.

About you

Essential requirements of the role:

  • A recognised health qualification with current registration with relevant professional board such as Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychology or Social Work
  • A current practicing certificate with relevant professional board
  • Be a Duly Authorised Officer (DAO) or be willing to work towards achieving it
  • Effective written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
  • A full, clean NZ driver's license
