About the Role:

Are you highly organised, detail-focused, and motivated by the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives? We’re looking for a proactive Quality Team Coordinator to join Feedback Central and the wider Clinical Governance and Quality team at Middlemore Hospital. In this dynamic, full-time role, you will be an essential part of improving patient outcomes and experiences.

You’ll play a key role in two main areas:

• Provide high-level support including assisting with administration of complaints, minute taking, coordinating meetings, managing office logistics, and assisting with reporting and system processes.
• Assist in managing consumer feedback, HDC complaints, incidents and adverse events (AEs) across Counties Manukau District.

This is a Monday–Friday role based at Middlemore Hospital, with flexible work from home options available after your initial onboarding period

About you:

You are a team player with a strong administrative background and a passion for supporting quality improvement. Your tech-savvy, organised, and thrive in a collaborative environment.

You will have:

• At least 2 years’ experience in a healthcare or customer service setting.
• Experience handling complaints and adverse events.
• Understanding of the Health and Disability code of rights
• Confidence working with data and IT systems, including Excel (pivot tables), Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
• A calm, professional communication style and excellent attention to detail.
