Are you able to influence and facilitate change to embed the new direction for the delivery of mental health and addictions services in Tairāwhiti?
The position is
· Full-time, based within Te Ara Maioha, Te Whatu Ora Tairāwhiti (Gisborne Hospital)
· Ideal for an applicant with knowledge of mental health and addictions services
· Provides opportunities for new learning in a dynamic and changing environment
What you'll do:
· Lead quality improvement activities to support the delivery of evidence based best practice in whānau centred care
· Initiate, lead and implement service development plans and projects in quality and clinical improvement
· Work in partnership with Te Ara Maioha Leadership, Clinical Leadership and Quality teams, clinicians and kaimahi to embed our Tairāwhiti way of working.
· Develop, access and maintain systems that measure, monitor and address tangata whaiora satisfaction and feedback including Complaints, Critical Incident Management systems and Feedback Informed Treatment
· Take a lead role in ensuring Health and Disability Standards are met and upheld, through Policy frameworks
· Audit, Accreditation and Compliance provisions
· Work to eliminate health outcomes inequity particularly for Māori, tangata whaiora and their whānau
About you
We are looking for someone with the following traits:
• High level of agility and a flexible mind-set
• Excellent facilitative and relationship management skills
• Well developed influencing skills across strategic and operational audiences
• A proven commitment to Quality Improvement and Assurance
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Practices in a manner that is consistent with Te Tiriti of Waitangi, and addresses inequity especially for Māori
• Knowledge of Te Reo advantageous
