We are looking for a NZ registered Clinical Psychologist, Child and Family Psychologist or an Educational Psychologist to join our Community Child Health Team at Waitemata. You will be placed amongst a highly skilled and supportive team, who are passionate and work collaboratively, to make a difference in the lives of our tamariki and whanau.

About the Role
In this role you will be working together with our established Child Psychologist to provide children and young people with evidence-based psychological assessments, and management and treatment of a range of psychological, physical or cognitive impairments. The role will also require support to parents of children who present with psychological needs, as well as clinical consultation and input within the wider multi-disciplinary child health team.

About the Team/Service/ Location
The Community Child Health Teams have two primary locations – one at Waitakere Hospital, the other at Shea Terrace North Shore – so it is anticipated that you will need to travel across both sites.
About you
To successfully meet the requirements of this role you will need to have:
• Minimum of Master or Doctoral Post graduate degree (or its recognised equivalent) in Clinical Psychology, Educational Psychology, or Child and Family Psychology • Registration with the New Zealand Psychologist Board as a Registered Psychologist • Current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) • Relevant post graduate experience working with children and their families, preferably in a health setting · A goal orientated and outcome focused approach • Commitment to achieving equity, working in partnership, demonstrating excellence in whānau-centred care |
