About the Role

We are searching for a Projects & Fixed Assets specialist to join our Enterprise Capital Project Delivery team. This role requires an enthusiastic and motivated individual to support activities related to Project & Fixed Asset management within the Te Manawa Taki region of Health New Zealand. About the Service

You will be part of the larger Enterprise Capital Investments function. This function primarily managers 1) the annual capital budget plan, 2) internal processes and procedures related to capital expenditure and 3) reporting on all things involving Capital Expenditure. The function goal is to facilitate sound and meaningful capital budget plans, provide our services with processes and procedures to support & enable timely capital expenditure, and to provide timely and accurate reporting on purchases planned and made, with support from our ERP system & auxiliary application tools.

 

About you

This role requires strong people skills, confidence to interface across all services throughout the Te Manawa Taki region, and good technical skills to ensure Project & Fixed Assets accounting & support is delivered in an timely manner. The successful applicant will be competent working with the Microsoft suite of applications and have experience with large integrated ERP systems. This person will bring a proven skills base for attention to detail and outcome accuracy, with good communication skills. They will be able to identify and implement process improvement and accounting control improvements on an ongoing basis. This person will also have the confidence & ability to work effectively either collectively within the wider Capital Project Delivery team or on their own within the TMT region.
