About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Podiatrist to join our vibrant, supportive allied health outpatient department. This is a sole practitioner position, with a clinic space within the physiotherapy outpatients at Te Koru Rehabilitation department within Whakatane Hospital. You could also be working on the acute wards and ED department as required. You will be supported by the professional lead for podiatry who is based at Tauranga Hospital

About you
• New Zealand registered Podiatrist
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in secondary health care, specialising in wound care
• Demonstrated success in working to a high level of skill across a range of patient services including triage.
• Previous experience in service development desirable
• Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
• Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
