About the Role

Reporting to the Regional Programme Director – Hospital and Specialist Services Priorities, you will lead the development and delivery of planning and performance tools, ensuring integration of district-level initiatives with regional and national priorities such as the National Health Targets. You will be leading the creation/completion of timely, accurate, and insightful reports for executive and senior leadership teams, support continuous improvement in reporting systems, and foster strong stakeholder relationships across the health sector.

About the Team

Our Regional Office of the ERD is focused on accelerating decision-making closer to communities, enhancing clinical partnerships, and improving productivity to deliver better health outcomes. You will join a collaborative team committed to innovation and excellence.

 

About you

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Relevant graduate and post-graduate qualifications.
  • 10+ years’ experience in monitoring and improving organisational performance within the health sector.
  • Expertise in strategic planning, facilitating consistent planning and performance frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver accurate and insightful reports
  • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written for engaging and reporting to diverse audiences, including senior executives
  • Demonstrated commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and equity principles.
