About the Role
As the Physiotherapy Clinical Leader you will provide day to day management of staff and resource, ensuring quality service provision, supporting professional and workforce development and involvement in quality work.
You will be providing day to day leadership and support to the acute medical and rehabilitation inpatient team at Waitakere Hospital and the rehabilitation teams at North Shore Hospital. You will be working alongside and supporting senior and advanced clinician physiotherapists within each team to support staff and service delivery.
As part of your role you will provide a minimum of 0.2 FTE of clinical support, which could entail teaching, training, completing audits or providing assessment and treatment to patients.
We require the successful candidate to work Monday to Friday to ensure support is available for staff every day.
About the Team/Service/ Location
You will join a fantastic and supportive team of clinical leaders across allied health. You will work closely with the Team Managers and the Professional Clinical Leader to resource, develop and manage your team. For more information on living and working in Auckland click here
About you
We are looking for someone who is a strong role model, who demonstrates excellent leadership, who is organised and highly efficient, and who is passionate about quality patient care and improving patient pathways and models of care throughout the patient journey.
Our preferred candidate will have over 5 years’ experience in a clinical physiotherapy role and at least 2 years’ experience in a senior clinical leadership role.
You must be able to demonstrate the following key attributes:
- Strong clinical leadership
- Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills
- Good organisational and self-management skills with the ability to effectively manage competing demands and priorities
- Thrives on change for greater outcomes
- Demonstrated ability in problem solving, priority setting and planning
- Ability to be flexible and work across sites
