About the Role

We have an amazing opportunity for an enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our team at Dargaville Hospital. As a Physiotherapist, you will have the opportunity to provide expert physiotherapy which promotes independence, safety and wellbeing to the patients of Health New Zealand. Deliver safe, effective, and innovative care that is person- and whanau-centered, with a focus on meaningful outcomes.

About you

  • Qualified Physiotherapist with registration as a Physiotherapist with the Physiotherapy Board of NZ (or eligible for) and a holder of a current practicing certificate
  • Sound knowledge of Physiotherapy theory and principles or practise, able to assess client’s needs and take appropriate action
  • Proven ability to communicate with and relate to a wide range of people and age groups and proven time management/priority setting skills, and problem-solving ability.
  • Current driver’s licence

Whilst not essential, candidates that have at least 2-3 years’ experience in a variety of clinical areas and experience in student supervision/training, teaching, and clinical audit/research are desired.
