About the Roles

This permanent, full-time (1 FTE) role based at either Greenlane Clinical Centre or Kahui Marino. This is an opportunity to be part of a comprehensive multi-disciplinary team with strong professional support, which offers the opportunity to develop your professional skills, including working across the Te Toka Tumai area with clients with chronic and long-term conditions. This role will also see you contributing to the service by:

  • Undertaking a clinical caseload providing comprehensive and evidence-based care
  • Working alongside your wider Allied Health colleagues using an interdisciplinary model to deliver high-quality and effective servicesTop of Form

About the Team/Service/ Location

 Our Community Physiotherapy team is part of the greater Community Allied Health Team. We work collectively as a large multidisciplinary service for adult clients who have physical health and disability needs and live in the Central Auckland region. We are a progressive service which is committed to delivering care in a locality-based framework, offering home and clinic-based appointments. We are a supportive team with a well-established in-service training programme.

About you

As the ideal person for this role, you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • New Zealand registration as a Physiotherapist with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • Clean, full New Zealand drivers’ licence
  • Excellent clinical reasoning skills and use of evidence-based practice
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of professional groups in a multidisciplinary, bicultural environment
  • Effective time management, prioritisation and organisation skills
  • A flexible, pro-active approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
