About the Role
Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge?
We are looking for a Staff Grade Physiotherapist to work in our rehabilitation team at Waitakere Hospital based across the Assessment, Treatment, and Rehabilitation (AT&R) and Integrated Stroke Unit (ISU) wards.
This is a part time role (0.8FTE) and fixed term until mid October 2025 with possibility of extension. You will be working on our Older Adult AT&R and ISU wards. You will be working as part of an established inter-disciplinary team providing best practice rehabilitation through a patient centred approach to older adults. The work covers an array of conditions including patients with orthopaedic, neurological, and general medical conditions who require rehabilitation and often also have complex social and discharge planning needs.

About you
- New Zealand Professional Registration and valid current APC
- 2+years of recent inpatient experience
- Ability to lead, support and mentor/supervise junior staff
- Experience with student supervision
- Strong clinical assessment skills, great communication and fast thinking.
