Physiotherapist – Musculoskeletal Outpatients

• Permanent fulltime position, working 40 hours per week

About the Role

• You will provide expert physiotherapy which promotes independence, safety and wellbeing to the patients of Health New Zealand – Te Tai Tokerau within our hospital based musculoskeletal outpatient clinic.
• This role is an effective member of the multidisciplinary team process that focuses on meeting quality outcomes for clients and be presented with daily variety and clinical challenges
• You will be required to maintain a clinical case load according to current best practice standards and maintaining and improving skills are essential components to this role.

• This role would ideally be integrated into the national Musculoskeletal Orthopaedic FSA project, enabling experienced physiotherapists to receive on-the-job training and upskill within this programme.

About you

• Registration with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand and a current APC

• Able to work autonomously and harmoniously with other health professionals
• Clear, concise recording and reporting
• Sound knowledge of physiotherapy theory and principles of practise, able to assess clients’ needs and take appropriate action
• Demonstrated client-centred practice
