About the Role
We are looking for a detail-orientated Payroll Officer to join our team, supporting multiple different areas with accurate and customer focused payroll services. In this role you will be responsible for processing pay transactions, reviewing payroll data, maintaining employee payroll records, and working closely with HR to ensure everything runs smoothly.
The role will involve maintaining payroll accuracy, addressing payroll queries, and ensuring compliance with legislative and policies.

About the Team/Service/ Location
In this role you will join a dynamic role reporting directly to the Payroll Manager. The payroll service is based at the Taranaki Base Hospital, New Plymouth.

About you
You are a detail-oriented professional with proven experience in payroll, committed to meeting key performance indicators. You thrive in both individual and team environments, respond promptly to payroll queries, and excel in communication, customer service and problem-solving. Your proven record, and strong background in similar roles would make you an ideal candidate for this role.
· At least 2 years of payroll or accounts experience
· Intermediate experience with the Microsoft suite, particularly Excel
· Strong team player
