About the Role

The Clinical Nurse Specialist – Palliative Care works across the organisation within a clinical specialty acting in the roles of practitioner, educator, consultant, researcher, leader/change agent and care coordinator/case manager in the pursuit of clinical excellence and improved health outcomes. The role provides expert palliative care nursing knowledge to patients, families/whānau and health professionals across the Lakes district.

About you

You will have:

  • New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current APC
  • At least 5 years working either in a clinical specialty or relevant senior nursing role.
  • Expert nursing knowledge in the management of patient care within palliative care speciality.
  • Demonstrated skills in nursing leadership.
