About the Role
- Join the Lakes, Orthopaedic Department, as a training or non-training registrar.
- The employee will provide in-patient, day patient and out-patient care for Orthopaedic patients assigned to them and as directed by the consultants involved.
- Enjoy the benefits of working in a smaller hospital, experience general and acute medicine, with a supportive team of consultants, house officers, medical students and nursing staff.
- Your roster will allow for you to enjoy all that Rotorua has to offer with longer summers and shorter winters.

About the Location
Lakes is a geothermal wonderland and is also home to several scenic lakes, including Lake Taupō, the largest lake in New Zealand. Rotorua and Taupō are the go-to places for hiking, mountain biking, and water sports; you can also dive into traditional experiences and learn more about Māori culture in the region.

About you
You will have:
- MCNZ registration and or be eligible for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. You can check your eligibility for registration by visiting the Council's website at www.mcnz.org.nz
- a minimum of two years' post qualification experience, and a keen interest in providing acute and general medical care to our community.
