About the Role
Orderlies facilitate the effective day-to-day operation of the hospital by maintaining consistent non-patient and patient transport standards and processes and delivering high levels of customer service at all times, consistent with the vision and values of the Waitematā District.
We are looking for someone with the ability to deliver compassionate service to our patients, as well as being able to get along with people from all walks of life, to join our team.

About Us
Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand Waitematā provides health services to approximately 500,000 residents in the North Shore, Waitakere, and Rodney areas. It has the largest population of any health district.
Waitākere Hospital is located at the foot of the magnificent Waitākere Ranges, close to the black volcanic sand beaches of the west coast. We serve mainly the Waitākere and Kaipara populations, seeing around 24,000 patients a year.

About you
Our ideal applicant will have the below skills and attributes:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good command of verbal and written English
- Proactive team player
- Previous experience working as an Orderly or in a healthcare environment would be advantageous
Successful applicants will also be motivated to complete the NZQA Level 3 Orderly qualification within 6 months of employment.
