About the Role
We are seeking customer-focused and reliable professionals to join our Orderly team at Pukekohe Hospital, supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of a busy healthcare environment.
As an Orderly, you will play a vital role in patient care by ensuring efficient and effective support services are delivered in a professional, respectful, and courteous manner. Your responsibilities will include patient and non-patient transport, maintaining high service standards, and completing cleaning duties in line with the procedure’s manual and duty list.
This is a part-time position, working 36 hours per week, with shifts from 7:00am to 3:00pm, rostered across seven days a week.
About You
You are physically fit, reliable, and motivated, with the ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Occasional heavy lifting is required. Previous Orderly experience is not essential, as training will be provided.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Highly organised with strong time management skills
- An excellent communicator with a customer-focused approach
- Physically fit and active
- Self-motivated, compassionate, and passionate about supporting community health
- Able to work calmly and effectively under pressure in a complex healthcare setting
