We are seeking an experienced health professional with a dynamic, results-oriented approach to join our team during an exciting phase of growth and development. It is ideal for a proven team player ready to step into managing a large, complex service, potentially paving the way for a future senior management role.

In this fast-paced position, you will provide hands-on leadership and management for a diverse Orthopaedics service, with a focus on both service delivery and contributing to the divisional management team. Based in a surgical environment, this role offers a unique mix of acute and elective services, providing opportunities to develop and broaden your experience.

A key aspect of the role involves establishing and nurturing collaborative relationships with a diverse range of medical professionals across the organisation.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate and manage service activities to consistently deliver high-quality, cost-effective care.
• Support managers in delivering unit and ward plans.
• Develop business cases and apply analytical approaches to budget objectives.
• Oversee financial performance for directly managed services.
• Ensure achievement of performance targets and indicators.
