About the Role

We have an amazing opportunity for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our team at Whangarei Hospital. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work across all services, utilise your professional knowledge and skills to provide a quality service to the designated inpatients and outpatients attending Whangarei Hospital.

Opportunities are available to rotate throughout the hospital every 6-12 months, including Medical and Surgical based departments, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Stroke and Rehabilitation Services.

About you

  • New Zealand registration as an Occupational Therapist and a holder of a current practicing certificate
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of multidisciplinary team
  • Aware of Occupational Therapy theory and principles of practice
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships between staff and clients
