This position is based in the community where you will be working with people of all ages with physical disabilities and long-term illness to participate in their daily occupations.

We are patient-focused, utilise the Canadian Model of Occupational Performance and Engagement to drive our process, and measures our patient outcomes. We use an evidenced based approach in our assessments and interventions and we are quality driven. We work in an inter-disciplinary environment promoting independence, health and well-being for the people of our community.
We are looking for someone (ideally) with experience but will also consider experience in areas other than community. The ideal candidate will have a willingness to learn about wheelchair and seating assessments, pressure care intervention, cognitive assessments and housing modification assessments.

About you
Successful applicants are to have be registered with the OT Board of New Zealand and hold a current practising certificate. They must also hold a current, clean and full driver’s licence (ability to drive a manual is desirable but not essential). Overseas applicants can be considered providing they are eligible for OT Board registration.
