We provide health and disability services to more than half a million people living in central Auckland, regional services for Northland and greater Auckland, and specialist national services for the whole of New Zealand. Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an Educator to join our training team to support Earn & Learn Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) who will receive their training whilst on the job.
We invite applications from experienced kaimahi to join our team to provide education, coaching and modelling of best practice approaches to Healthcare Assistant trainees who are completing the HCA Earn & Learn training programme. The Educator will be responsible for planning and delivering the HCA Earn & Learn programme study days and orientation weeks for each cohort of the programme.
This Educator position will report directly to the Hospital Operations Nurse Director. The Educator with work in a team which will also include the HCA Earn & Learn Programme Lead, HCA Trainers and Hapaitia Charge Nurse and Nurse Unit Manager

- Registered NZ individual with current APC
- Have at least 5 years of experience
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills
