- We’re looking for passionate, experienced clinicians to join our Napier Community Mental Health & Addiction Service - supporting tangata whaiora and their whānau who are most impacted by mental health and addiction challenges.

About the Role
You will work in partnership with tangata whaiora and whānau to:
- Deliver comprehensive mental health & addiction assessments and interventions
- Develop and implement individualised care and recovery plans
- Manage a caseload within a community - based setting
- Collaborate across a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to achieve best outcomes
- Support service improvement, quality care, and equitable health outcomes

About the Team/Service/ Location
Based at Napier Health Centre, our team provides specialist mental health and addiction services Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm.
We are a well-established MDT including:
- Psychiatry, psychology, nursing, social work, occupational therapy
- Alcohol & drug clinicians and support workers
- Cultural support through Kaitakawaenga and Pōwhirinaki Māori
Together we deliver holistic, whānau-centred care, supporting recovery and wellness in the community.

About you
We welcome applications from:
- Registered Nurses
- Social Workers
- Occupational Therapists
You will bring:
- Relevant registration + current APC
- Postgraduate qualification in Mental Health & Addictions (or working towards)
- Recent community mental health / addiction experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and equitable outcomes
Ideally you will also:
- Be a Duly Authorised Officer (DAO) or willing to train
- Have experience working in complex, multidisciplinary environments
